When she was 51, she was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma that first appeared in her right thigh. Her treatment included chemotherapy, radiation and removal of the tumor, followed by second round of chemotherapy. Sally completed the course of treatment and had an absolute belief that she would beat the horrible disease.

The event will take place the same Saturday, April 20th as our Annual Knockout Roses Sale. We hope you come buy some roses at Gruene Market Days and then spend the rest of Saturday at the Craft Beer Festival. It will take place from 12 noon to 8pm at the Rockin R River Rides in Gruene.
Sally Kingsbury was my neighbor and favorite teacher at New Braunfels High School. Sally lived her life all out and inspired me to set lofty goals and achieve them. I wouldn't be where I am today without her and Tim in my life.

Sally Kingsbury was an amazing woman, my favorite teacher, and frankly, the person who inspired me to study law.

I had her for govt/economics my senior year....great teacher with a great attitude. In football, her hubby (our coach) would make us do aerobics to her tape....and even a bunch of highschool football players on great shape were sweating away and about to pass out from the intensity of her workouts.....a wonderful teacher, she's missed by many.
