Barbara Doeppenschmidt and Candace Wells-Walker present a check to Dr. Lev and Dr. Pollock, sarcoma cancer reseachers, for the amount of $21,000 made out to The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center marked specifically for sarcoma cancer research. These funds were raised in 2008 from the Sarcoma Research Relay held in February and the Knock out Cancer with Knock Out Roses fund raiser held every April, plus the many donations made to SMKSR during the year.
